We left Palm Springs and the Bago behind after Thanksgiving to stay with friends in LA and Santa Ynez. It was great seeing friends we haven’t seen in awhile.
I took my inflatable out with our friend Chris in Redondo. He’s on my old board I sold him before we left town.
Jerry is a great SUP surfer. The water is warmish but a little too cold for my limited skills so I opted to play photographer and not paddle. I did get some good video with the new drone (DJI Phantom 3 Standard).
The drone is pretty easy to fly but not waterproof so It’s fun but a little unnerving to fly over the ocean.
We enjoyed a great weekend wine tasting with our friends April and Rick in Santa Ynez. The Santa Barbara wine country was made famous in the movie Sideways. Beth took the below pano using her Sony A6000.

Compared with Sonoma the wineries seemed much more relaxed and intimate.
