We had kind of planned on going to Glacier National Park in September. Glacier is one of our favorite National Parks if not favorite. But Oregon seems to be tugging at our heart so we are looking at staying and exploring more of this beautiful state before the infamous rains arrive and we start heading south. Opal Creek, not far from Jaime’s mother’s house has been on my list to do. This hike through old growth forest and along Opal Creek yesterday did not disappoint.
Spring with more water and fall colors would probably make this hike even better.
Not that I’m complaining about the views. It was a slightly cooler day and fall does seem closer now.
