The Oregon Trail

From Zion we started our migration back to Oregon. We stayed in our first Walmart Parking lot outside of Ceder City. We had planned to stay in a great National Forrest area but the weather was pretty chilly so we opted for the Walmart which turned out to be fine. We would definitely come back and explore this area more in better weather.

With snow and freezing temps in the forecast we found a full hookup spot up the road in Beaver, UT. The Beaver Canyon Campground was a cheap Passport America site.  The campground also had a pretty good and inexpensive Mexican restaurant.

The next morning it did indeed snow. Not something we expected in mid May. The snow melted and we left the next day for Boise.

We stayed a few days with our friends Kathy and Larry. We parked next to their vineyard and helped them bottle wine.

We left Boise and headed back to my parents house in Sisters where we started our travels almost a year ago.
